PA Chick-Fil-A places ban on unaccompanied minors dining in
A Pennsylvania Chick-fil-A is now requiring younger dine-in customers to be accompanied by an adult.
The fast-food restaurant in Royersford says anyone can still come in and purchase food to go, but customers younger than 16 that want to eat inside the restaurant need to be with an adult.
The owner says they have been dealing with issues such as bad language, mistreatment of property, and disrespect of employees.
He says it most often happens on weekends, when teens walk over from a nearby park, unaccompanied.
Supreme Court sides with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected a conservative-led effort that could have undermined the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
The justices ruled 7-2 that the way the agency is funded does not violate the Constitution, reversing a lower court. The CFPB was created after the 2008 financial crisis to regulate mortgages, car loans and other consumer finance.
The case was brought by payday lenders who object to a CFPB rule.

HOUSTON (WOAI/KABB) — A group of kids, between the ages of 14 and 18, robbed a Wells Fargo Bank, and are still on the run.
The official FBI Houston account on X (formerly Twitter) made a post on Thursday that instantly gained traction, deeming the robbers "Little Rascals."
The robbery happened Thursday afternoon, when the group of teens walked into the Wells Fargo location near Interstate 45 and West Road, near Greenpoint on the city's North Side.
1 person dies in accident on Route 53 in Cambria County
WILMORE BOROUGH – The coroner was called to the scene of a fatal single-vehicle crash along Route 53 Saturday morning.
Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said the pickup truck, a black Ford F-150, was traveling south on Route 53 when the truck crossed the center line and struck a tree head-on.
The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m.
Lees said Jerry Kinback, 59, of Wilmore, was the driver of the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Thursday afternoon, a Penn State trustee committee on finance detailed a proposed university budget for the next two years.
The university's recent operating budget deficit of $140 million is now projected to be $63 million.
Worker, customers saddened by sudden closing of Ryan's restaurant in Richland Township
RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A popular restaurant suddenly closed its doors on Monday.
Now, many employees at Ryan's restaurant are out of work and told us they weren't given any notice about the closing.
Some employees said they were left in the dark about the restaurant closing and had no idea until they showed up for work this morning at the location on Galleria Drive.
The doors were locked with a closed sign on the door.
'Happy Gilmore' swings back onto the screen with a Netflix ordered sequel
UNDATED (WKRC) - Netflix officially announced the production of the long-awaited sequel to the beloved comedy.
Back in March of 2024, Christopher McDonald accidentally leaked that Adam Sandler had shown him a first draft of the script of a sequel to "Happy Gilmore", but information was largely scarce. In April, Sandler teased the project a bit more in interviews, but still stopped short of confirming any theories. Some time later, Drew Barrymore received word during the taping of her talk show that a sequel was indeed in the works, which she eagerly shared with her audience.
