Hollidaysburg man accused of stealing over $300K from Altoona law firm

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Altoona Police Department say a Hollidaysburg man is facing embezzlement charges after being accused of stealing hundreds-of-thousands of dollars from a Blair County law firm. Police say 41-year-old Adam Bush allegedly embezzled $380,000 from the accounts of Goldstein & Heslop Law Firm, over the course of a 3-year period, where he was employed as a bookkeeper. Authorities say Bush faces several felonies including forgery, access device fraud, identity theft, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal use of a communication device.

State police say they are searching the Saxton area for a 17-year-old who disappeared from his home Sunday evening. One man has been pronounced dead after being thrown from his motorcycle in Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Friday, state police said. According to a press release, David Nangle, 74, was traveling downhill trying to negotiate a right curve in the road on Route 15 when he struck a guide rail. State police said Nangle was then thrown from his motorcycle down an embankment. The press release states that his motorcycle continued to travel down the highway, striking a concrete barrier multiple times, before finally stopping a short distance away in the southbound lane of travel.

Dobbs was originally drafted by Pittsburgh in 2017, and was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars at the beginning of last season; the Jaguars then released him this past offseason.
