Hollidaysburg man accused of stealing over $300K from Altoona law firm
Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Altoona Police Department say a Hollidaysburg man is facing embezzlement charges after being accused of stealing hundreds-of-thousands of dollars from a Blair County law firm.
Police say 41-year-old Adam Bush allegedly embezzled $380,000 from the accounts of Goldstein & Heslop Law Firm, over the course of a 3-year period, where he was employed as a bookkeeper.
Authorities say Bush faces several felonies including forgery, access device fraud, identity theft, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal use of a communication device.

ORIGINAL:Authorities say a water search and rescue Monday morning was part of a larger search for a missing Bedford County teen.
State police say they are searching the Saxton area for a 17-year-old who disappeared from his home Sunday evening.
A command post was set up at the Saxton VFW ballfield Monday as crews searched the nearby river as a precaution.
one man dead after motorcycle accident in Lycoming Co.
One man has been pronounced dead after being thrown from his motorcycle in Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Friday, state police said.
According to a press release, David Nangle, 74, was traveling downhill trying to negotiate a right curve in the road on Route 15 when he struck a guide rail.
State police said Nangle was then thrown from his motorcycle down an embankment.
The press release states that his motorcycle continued to travel down the highway, striking a concrete barrier multiple times, before finally stopping a short distance away in the southbound lane of travel.
Penguins Re-Sign Jake Guentzel to a Five-Year, $30 Million Contract Extension
PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed forward Jake Guentzel to a five-year contract extension, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
The deal begins with the 2019-20 season and runs through the 2023-24 campaign, and it carries an average annual value of $6 million.
“Jake established himself as an impact player for our team from the beginning, especially during 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs,” Rutherford said.
Pennsylvania Turnpike tolls set to rise 5% in January, residents react
Johnstown, Pa — On Sunday January 7th, tolls on the Pennsylvania Turnpike will increase 5 percent.
This follows Act 44 — which allows the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission to increase tolls annually.
An official with the P.T.C says this increase will help fund projects on the major roadway.

Richland family duo reflects on time together
JOHNSTOWN — The Burke and Bailey families are connected.
Brandon Bailey is the head football coach at Richland. Greg Burke is the head basketball coach at Richland. The two have sons, who are student-athletes at Richland. Brandon's son Koby plays football and basketball. Greg's son Caleb plays football and basketball. And, they're good, too.
The Bailey and Burke father-son duos have led Richland to district championships on the football field and basketball court.
Steelers release 'Duck' Hodges, bring back QB Josh Dobbs
Pittsburgh, Pa (WJAC) — According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly releasing backup quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges to make room on the roster for another backup quarterback, Josh Dobbs.
Dobbs was originally drafted by Pittsburgh in 2017, and was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars at the beginning of last season; the Jaguars then released him this past offseason.
Hodges was signed last season as a free agent and went 3-3 as a starter, while filling in for an injured Ben Roethlisberger and backup Mason Rudolph.
