Elmer Boyd was deeply involved in the investigation and eventually took gunman Lee Harvey Oswald into custody, according to The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. President Kennedy was shot just after noon on Nov. 22, 1963, as he rode through Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas in a motorcade.

MAHAFFEY – A Clearfield County community continues to mourn the loss of a 15-year-old junior firefighter killed in a freak accident late last month. On Sunday, the Mahaffey Fire Department held a spaghetti dinner and basket raffle to benefit the family of Thane Lucas. Police said Lucas, a junior firefighter with the Mahaffey Fire Department, was putting bags in a metal barrel when something inside it exploded. An item struck Thane in the neck and he died of his injuries later at the hospital.

FULTON COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police say they have identified the infant who was found dead along a Fulton County roadside last month. On the morning of March 11th, investigators say the body of a male infant child was discovered in the area of Lincoln Way East and South Second Street, in McConnellsburg Borough.
