Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Cambria County say a Portage woman is behind bars following an investigation into allegations that she showed pornography videos to two juveniles.
Police say in October, officers with the Portage Borough Police Department were contacted by the parents of the two juveniles, who claimed that 33-year-old Christina Aponte had allegedly showed pornography to their children.
Upon further investigation, police say the victims alleged that Aponte had repeatedly showed them "personal," sexually explicit videos on her phone via the pornography website known as "Pornhub."
Investigators say the juveniles claimed that Aponte allegedly had her own "account" on the website where she showed them the videos.
Police say one of the victims stated that she heard that Aponte had "done things like this before" with others.
In May, state police charged Aponte after she had been accused of sexually assaulting two teenage girls.
According to the affidavit, police say the children claimed that Aponte also reportedly showed them messages between her and her "sugar daddys."
Police noted that following the accusations, Aponte allegedly confronted one of the juveniles and asked, "did I show you my porn site?"
Authorities say when the juvenile answered "yes," Aponte reportedly responded by saying, "no I didn't."
According to online court records, Aponte was arraigned Thursday on charges of unlawful contact with a minor, disseminating sexually explicit material to a minor and corruption of minors.
She is being held in the Cambria County Prison on $10,000 bail.
