NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) - Country music crooner Randy Travis released his first studio recording in more than a decade.

The "I Told You So" singer put out new music on Friday called, "Where That Came From" and posted a message on his official Facebook account:

Eleven years ago I never thought I would be able to have a hand in music production of any kind, but by God’s grace and the support of family, friends, fellow artists, and fans, I’m able to create the music I so dearly love. Working with Kyle Lehning and Warner Music Nashville again has been so special and nostalgic, and I’m so excited to share my new song “Where That Came From” with you today. Many thanks to my wonderful team and the best fans in the world for putting me back in the saddle again! I’ve enjoyed every moment of it.

The Grammy winner, whose real name is Randy Traywick, was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016 after releasing 21 albums. He has 16 singles that reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.

Travis received CMT's "Artist of a Lifetime" award in 2021. Now 64 years old, he is credited with ushering in neo-traditional singers like Alan Jackson, Clint Black and Garth Brooks in the 1990s.

He battled back from a stroke suffered in 2013.
