ALEXANDRIA, Ky. (WKRC) — A man was shot in the head three times at his home in Kentucky and his neighbor tracked down the suspected shooter, according to authorities.
Police said the man was shot in his driveway on Friday at 8 p.m.
His wife heard the gunshots and looked out the window to see a white pickup truck with "CWL" on the side. She called for help.
A neighbor said he heard the shots and screaming. He said he saw the truck leaving and jumped into his own vehicle.
He caught up to the pickup truck on the AA Highway and Ezweiler. According to police, he got in front of the pickup and hit his brakes, causing the pickup to hit his vehicle. He then flagged down police.
Police said Corey Gray was in the pickup truck. A gun was in the center console and a round was in the driver side floorboard.
According to police, Gray didn't reveal much but said, "I didn't do this. I was set up. I was given orders," and "I am not finished yet."
Police said three of the rounds fired at the man went into the home. Three other people were inside the home at the time.
Gray was charged with attempted murder and wanton endangerment. He's locked up on a $1 million bond.
The man's condition was not immediately known.
